This piece was a freelance project. For this project, I designed a logo and potential album cover for an up and coming band. The band wanted a sleek and modern look to their logo in conjunction with a glowing and florescent effect to it.

This piece is meant to promote the branding and opening of the Ontario Zoo. The logo is meant to offer a candid, accurate, thoughtful and lively view of Ontario Zoo. I wanted the logo to be something recognizable to both children and adults by finding a common ground between a childlike and adult image of a toucan.

This was a freelance project. The client is an internal martial arts instructor who wanted to promote his Tai Chi On the Table business. He was looking for a logo that had balance, ties with martial arts imagery, and stability. Red is the color mostly used in their martial arts program, so he wanted to carry that over. The symbol references the Bagua diagram (a specific martial art).

I decided to design my own wedding invitations. The theme is peacock feathers with the color scheme of lapis purple. I knew I wanted to have a pocket/tri–fold wedding invitation because it gives a unique, vintage, yet designer feel to it.

This brochure was a freelance project I did for a salon in Vienna, VA. called Bellini Salon and Spa. The salon color theme contains earthy browns and accents of jewel green. The salon is an upscale salon, so they wanted a very clean, chic, classy, yet modern feel to their brochure.

For this piece I chose the graphic designer Armin Hofmann to research and write a paper on. I worked my paper into a custom magazine layout. Armin Hofmann uses stark typographic design, clean line, geometric abstraction, and simplicity. The very first page of the layout is a design I did using Hofmann’s name–which directly reflects his piece “Die Gute Form”.

I did this piece during my internship with Cape Fear Publishing–Virginia Living Magazine. For the August issue, I was given the task of laying out the dining feature. They had a specific style guide for their magazine that I had to follow in order to keep everything in the magazine consistent and uniform.

This was a packaging piece of mine. MIDTOWN is a fictitious liquor company that I conceptualized and branded. This particular company produces a line of vodka and a line of spiced rum. It is meant to be a more exclusive, valuable, and higher end liquor that reflects the feel of Midtown in New York City.

This was a packaging piece of mine. This product line is based off the style of Armin Hofmann. Armin Hofmann is a swiss graphic designer. The Swiss style is known for clean line, simplicity, typographic design, and asymmetrical layout. The name AVIKK (to deviate) derived from the fact that while Hofmann's style is categorized as part of the Swiss style, he was known to deviate from it.

This was a packaging project of mine. Splat was a fictitious nail polish company I conceptualized and branded. The brand is meant to appeal to a young and hip audience. Splat has a very modern look through the organic font, bright colors, and unconventional nail polish bottles.
